Fertilizer Agri Bentonite

Scientific research consistently demonstrates bentonite’s positive impact on agriculture.

Improving soil properties and plant growth,
Improve grain quality parameters like protein, fat and fiber content.
Bentonite is rich in nutrients, minerals, and other beneficial compounds.

Soil Fertilizer

Bentonite can change the soil in solid, liquid, gas ratio to loose soil structure and improve soil physical properties, so that water and fat in soil is security and not contaminated soil environment; In the arid region, bentonite is a highly effective soil conditioner: high cation exchange capacity, strong and good water-retention capacity of the adhesive, cation exchange capacity is a key indicator of fat for the soil for fertilize. It can help plants take in more water and nutrients during dry spells.

Bentonite Impact on Soil Properties

Bentonite is a kind of clay. Natural and safe, it may be added to the soil to improve its quality.

Calcium bentonite had a higher OM, N, P, Ca, Mg and K content than all three soil material. The neutral pH suggests that if used in say acidic soil, bentonite will not acidify soil but assist in increasing soil pH to level more suitable for most crop production. Studies have shown that soils with good quality can produce higher yields than soils with poor quality.

Benefits of Bentonite in Soil Improvement

Improved Water Holding Capacity:

Absorbs large amount of water and releases moisture gradually to plant roots.

Ideal for combating rapid drainage in sandy soils and reducing irrigation frequency.

Nutrient Retention

Improves the soil’s ability to retain essential nutrients, ensuring steady plant growth.

Enhanced Soil Structure:

Creates micro-pores that improve aeration and root penetration.

Promotes better soil aggregation, resulting in more stable and friable soil.

Boosts Microbial Activity

Bentonite can also contain Sulphur, which is an essential nutrient for microbial activity.

Bentonite’s capacity to absorb water helps maintain moisture in the soil, which is crucial for microbial activity.

How to use Bentonite

Fertilizers should be used considering placement, proportion and time of crop cycle.

Spread Bentonite powder evenly across the field to improve moisture retention.

For oilseed and pulse crops in dosages of 12-15kg/acre should be applied and 8-10kg/acre should be used for cereal crops.

Fruits and vegetables crop 10-12kg/acre is the recommended amount of dosage.

Apply directly to the soil for slow-release feeding.
